I want to know how much an antique book is worth, can somebody help ?
This book is in very fine condition, it’s title is The Rime of the Ancient Mariner in seven parts. By, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, presented by Willy Poqauy, Thomas V. Crowell & Co. New York. The letter pieces and line illustrations are by Vincent Brooks Day and Son Ltd. and there are four colour plates by Bemrose Dalziel, Ltd. at London in the year of our Lord MCMX.
This book is in very fine condition for it’s age and there are no tears or stains or ripes, it is a hard cloth cover , color is green with gold lettering on front and spine a little faded,not much. It is about 15″ x 12″ in size.
I want to sell this book and need to know what it is worth, I know it is a beutiful collectors piece.
Is it Willy Poqauy or Willy Pogany? Critical to know this.
Abebooks.com lists a Pogany edition published by Thomas Crowell as worth $5,000. Poqauy? Look carefully.
