Who would win between these creatures…? Why..?
Canadian Wolverine v. The Tasmanian Devils.
Eastern Diamond Back Rattlesnake v. Asiatic Inland Taipan/Fierce Snake
Salt Water Crocodile v. Nile Crocodile
North American Cougar v. the Snow Leapard
American Cow Sperm Whale v. The Great White Shark
Italian Wolf v. The Persian Mountain Wolf
American Bald Eagle v. The Himalayan Golden Eagle
Wolverine vs. Tasmanian devils – how many Tasmanian devils? One on one, the wolverine wins, hands down. It’s a bigger, stronger animal that is also very aggressive and determined. (It is not a bear, though, as one of your answers suggested – it is a member of the weasel family, Mustelidae). I estimate it would take at least three devils to have a chance at beating a wolverine, possibly more.
Eastern diamondback rattler vs. inland taipan – the victor of this fight would likely be whichever got in the first bite, since both are highly venomous.
Saltwater croc vs. Nile croc – saltie wins. It’s bigger and more powerful.
Cougar vs. snow leopard – cougar wins. Again, bigger and more powerful.
Sperm whale vs. great white shark – interesting. The sperm whale is of course much larger, but the only way it’s really got of harming a great white is to smash it with its tail, and it’s doubtful the shark would stay still long enough to enable it to do this. The shark is swifter and more agile, and has the advantage of not needing to surface for air as the whale must. It also has huge jaws full of hundreds of sharp teeth. It would be able to swim around the whale taking huge bites out of it until the whale bled to death.
Italian wolf vs. Persian mountain wolf – wolves in both these regions are the same species, Canis lupus. The victor of a fight between one from each area would really depend on the particular individuals – their age, size, sex, health, experience and so on.
Bald eagle vs. Himalayan golden eagle – again, this could go either way, but I’d be leaning towards the golden eagle. These birds are of similar size, but the golden is probably stronger as it is adapted to taking all kinds of prey, including quite large mammals, whilst the bald eagle feeds mainly on fish.
