are these carpet beetles?

I bought an old mexican rug at an antique shoppe about 6 months ago and put it in my basement. I haven’t been down there for about 4 months and when I finally did go down there, I found bugs or dried larvae all over the rug and the carpet in my basement. There’s nothing crawling just these long white and brown worm-like sacs. There is also what looks like little piles of dirt. What the heck are these??? Carpet beetles? What do I do?? I’m so grossed out!!

Sounds like it- I had carpet beetles hiding under my couch once, they look like little fast black worms, they’re disgusting looking. And they do shed their skin, and when the do, it looks like a light brown shell… ew. i had to bug bomb my house, and vacuum everything.
