Rugs Large Persian
What do I do? My cat throws up after eating often, has hairballs, etc. Vet says this is normal & I have?
tried changing his food to help this problem. My BF has an expensive, large persian rug & am worried if we move in together that he will freak if my cat throws up on it. What can I do as it’s one of his prized possessions?
It worries me that your dating a man with a precious persian rug first off.
But I digress, first try raising your cats food dish. Alot of times a cat will inhale their food which can cause them to vomit. Shorten the distance from the bowl to the mouth it may help.
If your cat continues to vomit have the cat tested for feline heartworm disease to rule out disease.
You could do a food trail with z/d cat food to see how well the cat tolerates the diet. It is a hypo allergenic diet.It is not cheap but it has worked well for many cats.
If the cat continues to vomi/regurgitate after eating an endoscopy may be able to ascertain an answer.
Do not settle for unsatisfactory answers. Get to the bottom of it.
