I just got a new sectional sofa. It is dark brown leather with beige pillows. I have navy blue carpet. What color curtains should I get? Does your area rug and drapes need to match?
I have a wood floor with an area rug that is chocolate brown with camel and a greyish brown like swirls I purchased from Lowes and my drapes are dark brown with gold (ish) / camel (ish) swirl like things, they almost look like leaves. Our sectional couch is camel color, so all the colors match, but we have two patterns–one on our drapes and one on our area rug… is that tacky? How could I better match these? Also, our coffee table is light wood matching the floors and the tv stand is espresso color, matching the drapes and rug.
Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. If you can, take a picture of everything and post it. Only then, will we be able to make a proper assessment of ‘pattern compatibility’.
