== most A-rugs and mats have a tag with washing instructions … try this … hang up the rugs and use the water hose on them to wash ‘em .. if they do not fade and the colors brighten up then it is ok to wash in the machine [separately only] most rugs that are machine produced can be washed either on the line w/hose or in a machine — the real trick is to line dry or stretch the rug to bring back the shape …. light soap = no bleach or other similar products = not the dryer {{ but you can on low heat fluff a 95% dry rug in the dryer}} the wet weight of a rug is not good for the dryer and there is still too much water that is retained in the rug and that amount of water is not good for your dryer machine ………….
