My grey 5yo pony has a wet brown patch on his thigh!?
He’s had it about a year and it hasn’t got bigger or smaller. He has not lost any hair, has no extra sensation to that area, and has no lumps. I’ve tried washing and shampooing the patch, brushing and scrubbing it, hoping that it will disappear with the change of seasons, and even changed the brand of his rugs with no success- the wet brown patch on my light grey was-gonna-be-a-show-pony remains as brown and wet as ever. Sometimes I almost can’t notice it as the hairs over the patch are dry, but when I run my hand over that area the hair flattens against the skin, becomes wet and dark again. At first I blamed his rug as the patch only appeared after I put a light synthetic waterproof rug on him during some cold rainy weather we had. The wet patch is only on one side of his body and is there if he is rugged or not.
Someone has said to me that it could be melanoma-any suggestions out there as to what this wet brown patch is???
You might want to look at the skin…. and i would ask a vet or horse specialist

Red Oriental Carpet I have medium oak flooring all over I want to have ceramic tile in kitchen what will go best?
I want a nice flow. The kitchen is eat in and is open to family room, hallway, and dining roome. I also have oak cabinets in kitchen and brownish black granite on counters. Carpet under table is gold, green and dark red oriental design.
Change the oak to a dark cherry finish and you have my livingroom, kitchen and dining colors…right down to the rug color. I had thought of the dark colored granite counter, but with my wood finish it would’ve been too dark. My dad does custom cabinetry, and for once, listening to him really paid off. I chose a slate flooring in the kitchen that had some of the same tones of the hardwoods and also the muddy greens that I used in the paint and upholstery thru out. In looking for mine, I saw some beautiful tiles that would be perfect in shades of browns, grays and a little green. Good luck!

Hello,
After watching the movie “Kite Runner” and reading serveral books about Afghanistan, I was wondering about why the soviets cut down the trees in Afghanistan when they invaded it. Was it a military strategy, or something else? Just want to know what the significance of it is.
Never heard of that, perhaps it got rid of all the hiding places so their helicopters wouldn’t be shot down by American Made Stinger Missiles used by the mujahedeen
